On the wave of the economic boom of the eighties, Bossini intensified its activity on the market, with a range of products which was always in line with its customers’ requirements. In 1990, a new modern production plant was established in Montichiari, with its energy requirements supplied entirely by a cogeneration plant; this plant included the new moulding, chromium-plating, storage and assembling departments for all its plastic products. In the nineties, Bossini optimised its marketing strategy, obtaining good results in terms of sales and trademark recognition by distributors in the field. In the early nineties, a new generation of showers was created – self-cleaning, anti-lime showers, showers saving up to 50% water, and also multifunction showers working with low-pressure water. In 2001, the production plant at Castenedolo was enlarged, with the opening of an advanced department for the chromium-plating of brass components, and the extension of production departments for flexible hoses. In 2007, the Montichiari plant was further extended with the opening of a third facility for the metallization of plastics. Over the years, Bossini products have obtained the most prestigious international quality certificates, and in 2002 Bossini was granted the quality system certification conforming to the UNI EN ISO 9001-2000 standard. Throughout the current decade, the company has been dynamically involved in launching new products with high technological content and strong aesthetic value, such as the OKI, Fresh, Ermes and Ocean4 showers with their nebulized jets and patented by Bossini.
